辽宁省文化馆始建于1956年，原名为辽宁省群众艺术馆。2003年、2007年、2011年在国家文化部全国群众艺术馆、文化馆评估定级中被授予国家一级馆。2018年，辽宁省群众艺术馆与辽宁省青年宫合并，并正式更名为辽宁省文化馆（辽宁省青年宫）。

The Liaoning Provincial Cultural Museum was founded in 1956, formerly known as the Liaoning Provincial Mass Art Museum. In 2003, 2007 and 2011, it was awarded the National Level 1 Museum in the evaluation and grading of the National Mass Art Museum and Cultural Museum by the Ministry of Culture. In 2018, the Liaoning Provincial Mass Art Museum and the Liaoning Provincial Youth Palace were merged and officially renamed as the Liaoning Provincial Culture Museum (Liaoning Provincial Youth Palace).

辽宁省文化馆（辽宁省青年宫）隶属辽宁省文化演艺集团（辽宁省公共文化服务中心），是国家公共文化设施的重要组成部分。内设部门分别为党政群工作部、服务保障部、活动策划部、美术摄影部、培训辅导部、群文理论研究部、青少年活动部和数字资源服务部。

Liaoning Provincial Cultural Museum (Liaoning Provincial Youth Palace) is affiliated to Liaoning Provincial Cultural Performance Group (Liaoning Provincial Public Cultural Service Center), and is an important part of the national public cultural facilities. The internal departments are the Party, Government and Mass Work Department, the Service Assurance Department, the Activity Planning Department, the Art Photography Department, the Training and Counseling Department, the Group Literature Theory Research Department, the Youth Activity Department and the Digital Resources Service Department.

法国VP建筑设计事务所中标并于2011年承接了辽宁省文化四馆，即辽宁省图书馆、博物馆、档案馆和科技馆的统筹规划，以及辽宁省档案馆的深化设计工作。项目地处辽宁省沈阳市浑南新城，基地为长方形。

French VP architectural design firm won the bid and undertook the overall planning of Liaoning Provincial Library, Museum, Archives and Technology Museum, as well as the deepening design of Liaoning Provincial Archives in 2011. The project is located in Hunnan New Town, Shenyang, Liaoning Province, and the base is rectangular.

设计师借助于中国自然景观中田野的纹理，巧妙地通过规划建筑的手法，将四栋不同功能的文化建筑融合在同一平面空间上，围绕市民广场生长而出。档案馆位于市民广场西南角，外观处理源于中国古代四大发明之一的活字印刷术，设计师将活字排版样式抽象的表达在立面上。丰富的挑檐处理将四栋建筑紧密联系在一起，围绕中心公园布局，形成一个完整的有机体。

With the help of the texture of the fields in the natural landscape of China, the designer skillfully integrates four cultural buildings with different functions on the same plane space by means of architectural planning, and grows around the public square. The Archives is located in the southwest corner of the Citizen's Square. The appearance treatment originates from movable type printing, one of the four great inventions in ancient China. The designers abstractly express the movable type typesetting style on the facade. The rich overhang treatment closely links the four buildings and forms a complete organism around the central park layout.

每座建筑内设有中心花园结合下沉式展厅，提取中式园林借景的设计手法，合理引入水景，营造出建筑源于园林，相映成趣、相得益彰的设计氛围。法国VP充分利用自然生态资源，协调基地及周边环境的内部联系，突显生态主题，将生态节能理念充分利用到整个设计中，将馆区与环境整合为一个有机的生态整体。

Each building is equipped with a central garden combined with a sunken exhibition hall, which extracts the design method of borrowing scenery from Chinese gardens, reasonably introduces waterscape, and creates a design atmosphere in which the buildings originate from gardens, complement each other and complement each other. The French VP makes full use of natural ecological resources, coordinates the internal connection between the base and the surrounding environment, highlights the ecological theme, makes full use of the concept of ecological energy conservation in the whole design, and integrates the museum area and the environment into an organic ecological whole.
