元古雲境，成都/建筑设计

回忆起整个设计过程，如今还清晰可见。元古雲境餐厅位于太古里的二，三层。整体结构比较特别，入口在二层，而主体营业区在三层，两个空间是通过楼梯进行连接的，这种结构给运营带来不小的困扰，所以入口的设计尤为重要，为了突出元古特点，选用了老石板与老木板来提升气质，楼梯走道神秘而悠长，当你步入于此仿佛进入了一个冥想之庭，远方尽头的一丝光芒，让你心之向往。

Recalling the whole design process, it is still clearly visible today. Yuangu Yunjing restaurant is located on the second and third floors of Taikoo Li. The overall structure is quite special. The entrance is on the second floor, while the main business area is on the third floor. The two spaces are connected by stairs. This structure brings great trouble to the operation. Therefore, the design of the entrance is particularly important. In order to highlight the characteristics of the Yuan Dynasty, old stone and wood slabs are selected to improve the temperament. The stairway is mysterious and long. When you enter here, you seem to enter a meditation court, a ray of light at the end of the distance, Let your heart yearn.

进入三层平台光线瞬间明亮，映入眼帘的是一个精致的小院，院子虽然很小却是餐厅的核心，并以天地为背景，竹石为点缀。以人文著称的元古空间，因为小院而更加的亲近自然。在这个咫尺之地，风雨四季，二十四节气，争相绽放。

Entering the third floor platform, the light is bright instantly. What you see is an exquisite courtyard. Although the courtyard is very small, it is the core of the restaurant, with heaven and earth as the background and bamboo and stone as ornaments. Yuangu space, famous for its humanities, is closer to nature because of its small courtyard. In this very close place, the four seasons and twenty-four solar terms of wind and rain are blooming.

营业区分成三个部分，第一部分为厨房、包间、洗手间，第二部分为吧台、院子、散台区。第三部分抬高散台区。虽说每个空间各自为政，但是都与院子有着若即若离的关系。厨房在角落，原先布置好的水电，燃气，让我们别无选择，为了控制成本将洗手间和包间安排在此。相对封闭的空间可以尽量避免出餐，回餐的打扰。

The business area is divided into three parts, the first part is the kitchen, private room and toilet, and the second part is the bar, yard and counter area. The third part is to raise the scattered platform area. Although each space has its own way, it has a vague relationship with the yard. The kitchen is in the corner. We have no choice but to arrange toilets and private rooms here in order to control the cost. The relatively closed space can avoid the disturbance of dining out and returning.

接下来是吧台、院子、散台区域，三个区域互为景观，互相依存，可谓你中有我，我中有你。最后是抬高散台区，该区相对独立，安静，静静流水让人更加惬意，你可以通过元古商店遥望庭院，也可以透过砖墙窥视吧台，从而让这个相对独立的空间与整体合二为一。

Next, there are the bar counter, yard and counter area. The three areas are interdependent and interdependent. It can be said that you have me and I have you. Finally, raise the counter area, which is relatively independent and quiet. The quiet running water makes people more comfortable. You can look into the courtyard through the Yuangu store, or peep into the bar through the brick wall, so as to integrate this relatively independent space with the whole.

餐厅开业之后，有人问我餐厅的设计灵感？我觉得这是个严肃的问题，我曾经多次提过形式只是设计的结果而不是我们所追求的目标。不管怎样在设计的过程中更多的还是理性的思考，比如动线问题，如何提高空间利用率，节能，光等等。当你在解决和平衡这些问题之后空间形式就自然形成了，至于元古为什么会是这个样子，那是和元古精神密切相关——简单，自然，温暖。当你带着这三个问题设计的时候一切就不言自明了。

After the opening of the restaurant, someone asked me about the design inspiration of the restaurant? I think this is a serious problem. I have mentioned many times that form is only the result of design, not the goal we pursue. However, in the process of design, more rational thinking is needed, such as moving line, how to improve space utilization, energy conservation, light, etc. When you solve and balance these problems, the spatial form will naturally form. As for why the Yuan Dynasty was like this, it is closely related to the spirit of the Yuan Dynasty - simple, natural and warm. When you design with these three questions, it is self-evident.
