深绿民宿位于云南省丽江市束河古镇，由原纳西族民居院落改建而成。建筑主体被一片楸树林围绕，每天独揽山峦朝夕，看过一年四季。有田建筑参与了整个项目的规划，建筑设计，景观设计及室内的整体方案设计。

The Deep Green Hostel is situated in Shuhe Ancient Town, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It has been reconstructed from the courtyard of the original Naxi ethnic dwellings. The primary structure of the building is enveloped by a mountain forest, offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills throughout the year. Arita Architecture was responsible for the planning, architectural design, landscape design, and comprehensive interior design of the entire project.

建筑外观设计，现代简洁，线条疏朗。错落有致，绿树成荫，石板路蜿蜒向前，让每幢建筑之间相连呼应。立面材质是当地特有的五花石，手工垒制的方式，温润又亲和。室内空间材质环保，不露锋芒的沉稳气质，同软装一起丰盈了空间。房间的朝向各不相同，设计手法恰巧满足了每间客房的独特视野。同时也保证安全，私密与舒适。

The exterior design of the building is characterized by a modern and minimalist aesthetic, featuring clean lines. A meandering, tree-lined, flagstone pathway connects the various structures. The façade is constructed from the locally sourced, distinctive five-flower stone, which has been hand-chiseled to create a warm and welcoming appearance. The interior materials are environmentally friendly, contributing to a serene and understated ambiance that complements the soft furnishings and enhances the spatial experience. Each room is oriented differently, allowing for a unique perspective and ensuring safety, privacy, and comfort.

椿庭 Toon Courtyard

是我们选择旅行，还是旅途选择我们。眼界在慢慢积累成长也在挑剔审视。商业设计层出不穷，太多技巧和表现力，压过了设计本身。设计内涵艺术，但艺术不仅只有设计，一间民宿更加考验设计师的经历和阅历。触觉敏锐且对万物关注的人，会有当下的体会，即是一种真性情。清净而恬阔的民宿，照得见旅途，照得见自己。这里有流动，有印证，也有新的发生。融入又独立，安静且有力量。

We choose the journey, or the journey chooses us. The horizon is slowly accumulating and growing and being critical. Commercial design is endless, too many skills and expressiveness, overwhelm the design itself. Design contains art, but art is not only the design, a homestay more test the designer’s experience and experience. A person with a keen sense of touch and attention to all things will have the experience of the present moment, that is, a true disposition. A clean and spacious home, you can see the journey, you can see yourself. There is movement, there is confirmation, and there is new happening. Blend in and be independent, quiet and powerful.

山苔 Mountain moss

考察项目之初，长满杂草的院子里，格桑花映衬着远处的玉龙雪山。正值九月，秋山如妆。阳光温暖，空气中湿润的气味，背离人群的独家视角，加上民宿的地势，催生了崖壁餐厅的想法。围墙上的苔藓生机勃勃，深深浅浅的绿，如水墨点睛之笔“画不点苔，山无生机”

At the beginning of the project inspection, in the yard overgrown with weeds, the Gesang flowers set off the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. It was September, and the autumn mountains were as beautiful as if they were made up. The sunshine was warm, and there was a moist smell in the air. The exclusive view away from the crowds, combined with the terrain of the homestay, gave birth to the idea of the cliffside restaurant. The moss on the surrounding walls was full of vitality, with shades of green, just like the finishing touch in an ink-wash painting. “A painting without moss looks lifeless, just as a mountain does.”

餐厅得名“山苔”它衔接着被深浅墨色掩藏的民宿，视觉开阔。自然生长的建筑，亦如山间的苔藓一般，独立温厚，郁郁葱葱。在此侯风赏月，观云煮雪，感受大自然蕴含的力量。妙哉呀！

The restaurant got its name “Mountain Moss”. It connects the homestay hidden by the shades of ink, offering a broad view. The building that grows naturally is just like the moss in the mountains, independent, gentle, and lush. Here, one can wait for the wind, admire the moon, watch the clouds, and boil snow, feeling the power contained in nature. How wonderful it is!

植愈 Plant Healing

丽江的植被尤其丰富，于是对于一位动手能力强且有艺术天分的主理人来说，一件关于绿植的艺术品信手拈来，有生命的物件需要被看见，聆听，感受，体会。植物如此，老物件也如此。设计改造过程中，老房梁被完整的保存下来，修旧如旧，看似孤独，却是与过去贴近的最佳方式。玻璃屋顶是保护它的用心选择，当雨季来临，内在平静，阳光普照，植物舒展，与万物融为一体。既深邃，又辽阔。“植愈”因此得名。深绿民宿，不止为当下，更为过去与未来。

The vegetation in Lijiang is especially abundant. So for a host who is good at hands-on work and has artistic talent, it’s easy to create a work of art about green plants. Living things need to be seen, listened to, felt and experienced. It’s the same for plants as well as old objects. During the design and renovation process, the old roof beams were completely preserved, restored to their original state. Seemingly lonely, it’s actually the best way to stay close to the past. The glass roof is a carefully made choice to protect it. When the rainy season comes, there’s inner peace inside. Under the sunshine, the plants stretch out and blend with everything around them, being both profound and vast. That’s why it’s named “Plant Healing”. The Deep Green Homestay is not just for the present, but also for the past and the future.

溪竹 Phyllostachys rivularis

民宿后庭有下沉式花园，有茶席，有一炉香，花好月圆。有一个聆听的人，把这些记忆留给自己。时常停驻思考，记录，整理。设计需要真实的性情，与这片土地产生联接，建立，串起弱干个细节，种下希望的种子，落地生根，向阳而生。茶室取名“溪竹” 来自院子里肆意生长多年的竹子，清风拂过，溪水环绕得名。

There is a sunken garden in the backyard of the homestay, with a tea table, a burner of incense, and a beautiful scene of blooming flowers and the full moon. There is also a listener, keeping these memories to oneself. Often stop to think, record and sort things out. Design requires genuine sentiment, connects with this land, establishes and strings together several details, plants the seeds of hope, takes root here and grows towards the sun. The tea room is named “Stream and Bamboo”, which comes from the bamboo that has been growing freely in the yard for many years. It gets its name as the gentle breeze blows by and the stream flows around it.

晓山青 Green Mountain

再来丽江，听到了关于玉龙雪山的许多传说。丽江守护神山的十三道峰，风神女儿撒下的一米阳光。都在祝福美好爱情和幸福生活。有些故事需要慢下来听，有些人，要时常陪在身边。民宿的客房设计里，宜静宜动。早上叫醒你的不是闹铃，是觅食的松鼠，对话的小鸟，或是楸树开花的声音。客房名字取自云南各地，室内布局各有不同，看到的风景也不尽相同，同样的是就地取材料的环保材料和优化的空间。细腻的床品和主理人用心的画作。

Coming to Lijiang again, I’ve heard many legends about the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The thirteen peaks of the sacred mountain guarded by Lijiang, and the “One-meter Sunshine” sprinkled by the daughter of the God of Wind are all blessing beautiful love and happy lives. Some stories need to be listened to at a leisurely pace, and some people should always be by your side. In the guest room design of the homestay, it’s suitable for both quiet relaxation and lively activities. What wakes you up in the morning is not the alarm clock, but the squirrels looking for food, the chirping birds having a conversation, or the sound of catalpa trees blooming. The names of the guest rooms are derived from various places in Yunnan, and the indoor layouts are different, so are the views outside. What’s the same is the use of environmentally friendly materials sourced locally and the optimized space. There are also delicate bedding and the paintings carefully created by the host.

隐楸 Hidden Catalpa

日子渺小人生依旧闪耀，深绿民宿一站，吹竹林摇曳的风，踏从未涉足的山岭。在彩云之南，看身披霞光的玉龙雪山。在盏盏茶香里，品古道悠长。星河辽阔，朝暮流转。愿有趣的人，终将遇见。

Life may seem ordinary in the passing days, yet it still shines brightly. At the Deep Green Homestay, feel the wind that makes the bamboo forest sway, and climb the mountain ridges that you’ve never set foot on before. In the south of the colorful clouds, behold the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Amid the fragrance of cups of tea, savor the long history of the ancient tea-horse road. The Milky Way is vast, and days and nights come and go. May those interesting souls eventually meet each other.
