The current renovation subject, Lafayette Art & Design Center, was established in 2014 based on the 2009 reconstruction, with efforts to revive the architectural form of the original Lafayette Cinema.In 2024, the arrival of digital art organization ALIGHT  catalyzed the building’s digital transformation, integrating digital technology and contemporary expression.
