Consequently, the design for Huashan High School consciously embraced this reality: employing the simplest means possible, relying solely on the juxtaposition of solid and void forms and proportional relationships to manifest the building’s power and aesthetic appeal. Within the tension of this bold solid-and-void composition, lies a heroic simplicity echoing the vast desert.
