氹边建筑工作室由刘洋建筑师于2016年成立于广州。“氹边”是取自工作室最初所在的街巷名称，“氹边建筑”泛指南方地区水岸边的房子，寓意建造良好环境的居所。
Atelier Waterside was established in Guangzhou in 2016 by Liu Yang architect. “氹边(dangbian)”is the name taken from the street where the studio was originally located, and “氹边建筑（dangbian Architecture）” generally refers to houses on the water bank in the southern region, symbolizing the construction of a residence with a good environment.
