Through an in-depth understanding of contemporary space, it reveals that it is a product of superposition and correlation of different levels of society, culture, economy and daily life. Meta project's research makes a detailed analysis of real space with a model that transcends evolution, so as to discover unique social / cultural potential. The company's actual projects are usually boosted by research results, trying to re-establish the relationship between the building and its social environment.

META-Project相信面对当下新的挑战，建筑必须从一种被不断累积的种种“事物”所模糊了的状态种解脱出来，而达到复杂性和清晰性的新高度。她必须通过对现象的上位思考，经由抽象消除事物的混杂，才能够表达一个新的现实：即建筑不再是对社会现状的僵化反射，亦不是对无法维持的乌托邦的幼稚表达，而是对促进当代生活价值提供有针对性的，有效的介入策略。这一系列操作进一步定义了META-Project。

Meta project believes that in the face of new challenges, architecture must be freed from a state blurred by various "things" accumulated continuously, and reach a new level of complexity and clarity. She can express a new reality only by thinking about phenomena and eliminating the confusion of things through abstraction: that is, architecture is no longer a rigid reflection of the social status quo, nor a naive expression of an unsustainable Utopia, but a targeted and effective intervention strategy to promote the value of contemporary life. This series of operations further defines meta project.

META-Project由王硕和张婧创立于纽约。在创立META-Project之前，各合伙人都在国际知名事务所担任重要职位。王硕在美国莱斯大学取得建筑学硕士学位后，曾在纽约Peter Gluck and Partners及荷兰大都会事务所(OMA)鹿特丹总部任建筑师，随后作为OMA北京公司的项目建筑师，负责曼谷*高楼-MahaNakhon项目。张婧以Award of Excellence荣誉大奖毕业于美国罗德岛设计学院(RISD),曾加入纽约*建筑事务所Hariri & Hariri Architecture担任室内项目设计师，后加入荷兰大都会建筑事务所（OMA）鹿特丹总部及北京分公司担任建筑师。

Meta project was founded in New York by Wang Shuo and Zhang Jing. Before the establishment of meta project, all partners held important positions in internationally renowned firms. After obtaining a master's degree in architecture from Rice University in the United States, Wang Shuo worked as an architect at Peter Gluck and partners in New York and the Rotterdam headquarters of the Netherlands metropolitan office (OMA). Later, as a project architect of OMA Beijing company, he was responsible for the Bangkok * tall building MahaNakhon project. Zhang Jing graduated from the Rhode Island School of design (RISD) with the award of excellence. She once joined Hariri & Hariri architecture, a New York * architecture firm, as an interior project designer, and later joined the Rotterdam headquarters and Beijing Branch of the Netherlands Metropolitan Architecture Firm (OMA) as an architect.
