香格里拉酒店的大堂，白天主要光源为落地窗自然采光，自然光随着时间的变化在强度和光谱组成上都发生着变化，此处的照明设计采用窄角投光灯将距离窗户较远的雕花堂柱的柱角照亮，并采用高光处理将鲜花和艺术品陈设照亮，以营造与日光相映衬的白天氛围。在夜晚，光、影和色彩的营造成为了主旋律，此处在酒吧中设置了缓慢渐变的色彩，以提高酒吧的夜魅力。灯光设计师在此处选用了可调节70％亮度的冷阴极灯。在白天、黄昏、夜晚时，灯光分别调节为100％、70％、30％，以达到人工照明与自然光层次间的衔接、过渡、转化与互补。

在西餐厅，灯光设计师选用了风格一致且具有优质显色性的主灯，对桌面及地面进行了功能性照明。在花园连接处的灯光处理上更是别具匠心：充分考虑到自然光与人工照明的结合方式，巧妙的柔化了分割餐厅与花园之间的玻璃。晚餐时，此处灯光处理的非常柔和，这种结构化的照明方式既有利于酒店节约能源，也使得餐厅呈现出浪漫的夜色景观。在酒店完成后，这里成为了客人们最喜欢的场所之一。

中国的文化源远流长，饮食文化更是从其中衍生而出的，为此香格里拉中餐厅的设计注重对传统文化的传承，突出了舒适的感受及华丽的修饰。中餐厅厅堂亭台周围用光柱围合，光柱透出的光将空间进行分隔，置身其中犹如仙境。周围的小餐桌错落有致，设计上采用点光源的表现手法，采用顶光源透射在餐桌上，与亭台交相辉映，浑然一体，超凡脱俗。包房内，选用灯笼灯为主灯，可随意调节亮灯的盏数，配合房间内古典的窗型设计，新古典的气息充盈其中。
