Passing through the square and atrium of the commercial center today, I will still miss the tortuous moon we created in magic city last winter. It is small and beautiful and still shines in our hearts. We have been looking for suitable opportunities to express the appearance of a device in our mind - a non daily place to meet people's daily activities.

有幸作为一家建筑设计事务所入选2016“光影上海”灯光艺术节。入选装置是一个正投影8m边长的等边三角。三角与3个半径不同的球体交错，切割出一下两上三片弧面形成最终造型。三片巨大的弧面板是对工程最大的挑战。在有限的预算下，我们痛苦地舍弃了设计原本想要的镜面效果，在材料的选择上也作出了妥协。整体塑形没有可能性，我们只能切分加工，现场组装。我们小心翼翼不愿放下对建筑学的执念和追求，受困于现实的窘境。通过反复计算，结构使用3根极细不锈钢柱，隐藏在300根透明亚克力灯柱中完全消隐。我们创造了一个非传统的装置，但是距离精致的极简还是差些。

As an architectural design firm, I was honored to be selected into the 2016 "light and shadow Shanghai" lighting art festival. The selected device is an equilateral triangle with 8M side length of orthographic projection. The triangle is staggered with three spheres with different radii, and two upper and three arc surfaces are cut to form the final shape. Three huge arc panels are the biggest challenge to the project. Under the limited budget, we painfully abandoned the mirror effect we originally wanted, and made a compromise on the choice of materials. There is no possibility of overall shaping. We can only cut and process and assemble on site. We are careful not to put down the obsession and pursuit of architecture and are trapped in the dilemma of reality. Through repeated calculation, the structure uses three very thin stainless steel columns, which are completely hidden in 300 transparent acrylic lamp columns. We have created an unconventional device, but it is still not close to the exquisite minimalism.

似亭非“亭”

Like a pavilion, not a "Pavilion"

白天，“月亮湾”广场上这个银色的巨型三角漂浮空中，人们的视线被引导至主入口中庭广场。这个巨大的三角似亭非“亭”，附近居民时常驻足观赏，好奇它有什么作用。

During the day, the silver giant triangle on the "Moon Bay" square floats in the air, and people's eyes are guided to the atrium square at the main entrance. This huge triangular Pavilion is not a "Pavilion". Nearby residents often stop to watch it and wonder what its role is.

夜晚，300根灯柱开启，蜿蜒的路径打开。步入其中，感应装置被激活，星星点点的光芒和浅吟低唱音乐交融，仿若进入梦境。我喜欢这条被灯柱包裹的蜿蜒路径，它在一个供观赏的装置中轻松创造了一个体验的空间。我们用预判的经验邀请每一个周围的人参与这场关于梦的假定和设想，哪怕这个美好只是虚妄。

At night, 300 lamp posts are turned on and the winding path is turned on. Stepping into it, the sensing device is activated, and the scattered light blends with the shallow singing and low singing music, which is like entering a dream. I like this winding path wrapped by lamp posts, which easily creates an experience space in a viewing device. We invite everyone around us to participate in the assumption and assumption of the dream, even if the beauty is just vain.

忘掉片刻的现实吧，在这令人微醉的迷光森林。赶工的最后一夜飘了几丝小雨，天亮时装置成了大花脸惨不忍睹。或许觉得再这么干下去收尾遥遥无期，供应商撩挑子跑了，留下傻眼的我们和不知如何收场的残局。临时找来的工程队，终究还是赶在开业活动前补完了漆。“光影上海”瑞虹天地的现场热闹非凡。然而这场华丽的开场启幕之前，每个人的出发点就已决定了他的所得和牺牲。

Forget the reality for a moment, in this intoxicating light forest. On the last night of catching up with the work, there was a few drizzles, and the fashion was set into a big flower face at dawn, which was terrible. Perhaps we feel that if we continue to do so, the end is far away. The supplier teased the challenger and ran away, leaving us with a silly eye and a mess that we don't know how to end. The temporary engineering team, after all, finished painting before the opening activities. The scene of "light and shadow Shanghai" Ruihong world was bustling. However, before this magnificent opening, everyone's starting point has determined his gains and sacrifices.

A few days after the installation was completed, we went to the scene to observe people's attitude towards it.

小朋友永远是最欢快的，他们喜欢在管子间来回奔跑，紧张了保安在一旁不断提醒。一如Mur Mur Lab最近完成的SNOW HILL，熊孩子们在“雪山”钻来爬去。在这个特定日子忆起去年同一时刻为魔都创造的一个惊喜或是地标？

Children are always the happiest. They like to run back and forth between pipes. When they are nervous, the security guard keeps reminding them. Like the snow hill recently completed by Mur Mur lab, the bear children are crawling around the "Snow Mountain". On this particular day, remember a surprise or landmark created for Mordor at the same time last year?

也许都不是。我们寻找的，或许是一棵匠心，一棵大树般永不迁徙的匠心；甚或是一种意像——如同，月亮如何在身旁升起，光如何照耀森林。

Maybe neither. What we are looking for may be an ingenuity, an ingenuity that will never migrate like a big tree; Or even an image - like how the moon rises beside us and how the light shines on the forest.
